About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, inspect, and maintain services for wireless radio and antenna systems on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures
Mount antennas, including panels and microwave dishes, run coax, apply connectors, scope fiber runs, and sweet test coax lines and jumpers
Install tower equipment, including, but not limited to, masts, clamping, bracing, support, antennas, remote radio units, cabling, and bolting
Complete antenna installation of RF and microwave parabolic dishes from 1 foot to 10 feet in size
Troubleshoot RF and microwave systems
Assemble structures such as monopoles, self-supports, and guyed towers
Install power trunk lines
Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner
Support site cleanup and upkeep
Ability to manage crew members when required
Complete company required documentation
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)
At least 2 years of wireless telecom construction experience required
Basic knowledge of knots and tower rigging
Must have or obtain and maintain Authorized Climber & Competent Climber/Rescue certification from an accredited institution
Must have or obtain and maintain OSHA 10 construction training card
Must have or obtain and maintain OSHA 30 construction training card
Must have or obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification
Ability to travel away from home up to 75% of the time including weekends
Must have the ability to pass pre-employment checks, which include a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and substance screening, following federal law.
