About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain OpenStack environments for production use
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and capacity
Troubleshoot issues across OpenStack services such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, and others
Perform upgrades, expansions, and lifecycle management tasks
Work directly with clients to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to integrate OpenStack with our other platforms and tools
Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and consistency
Create and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and best practices
Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems
Assist in preparing and reviewing architecture designs for new deployments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on experience with OpenStack in production environments
Solid understanding of compute, networking, storage, and identity services within OpenStack
Proficiency with Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as KVM
Experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation frameworks
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Scripting experience with Python, Go, or similar languages
Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and conduct root cause analysis
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
