About the role

  • Manage one or more software development, product deployment and/or automation projects, ensuring governance of scope, schedule, budget, risks and quality.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams (developers, data engineers, architects, QA, UX, infrastructure), fostering high performance and accountability.
  • Act as the main interface between internal technical teams, the client’s enterprise architecture, IT governance and business areas.
  • Ensure effective execution of agile ceremonies and visual management practices, maintaining backlog flow and delivery transparency.
  • Remove impediments, manage technical and functional dependencies, and proactively escalate critical risks.
  • Plan and oversee key activities such as integrated testing, user acceptance, change management, transition, go-live and hypercare/assisted operation.
  • Control the budget, costs, billing and financial indicators for projects under your responsibility.
  • Monitor performance metrics, product indicators and OKRs, promoting data-driven continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adequate documentation, traceability and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Assess team maturity and implement continuous improvement actions using approaches such as PDCA, Kaizen and A3.
  • Prepare executive reports and presentations for strategic stakeholders and governance committees.

Requirements

  • Advanced or fluent English.
  • Reside in Belo Horizonte or the metropolitan area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology fields (Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related).
  • Experience as a Project Manager in complex software and/or automation solutions.
  • Strong experience with agile methodologies and hybrid models (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar).
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong executive communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • What will be a differential:
  • Certifications in project management and agile methods (PMP, CSM, PSM, SAFe, PSPO).
  • Experience in projects within the mining and steel sectors, especially in industrial environments, IT/OT integration, production systems, mineral processing, industrial plants or control centers.
