About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Program Management Office for the U.S. Census Bureau Census Talent Acquisition and Management contract
- Oversee cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, quality, and contractual performance across multiple projects and programs
- Serve as primary point of contact for government contracting officials, government personnel, subcontractors, and teaming partners
- Manage integrated program schedules, milestones, resource allocations, staffing plans, budgets, forecasts, risks, deliverables, and performance metrics
- Lead program reviews and provide transparent reporting on financial performance, technical progress, risks, issues, corrective actions, and contract status
- Coordinate cross-functional integration across technical, operational, administrative, government, subcontractor, and contractor teams
- Coordinate rapid responses to urgent program issues
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, administrative, quality, onboarding, training, and reporting requirements
- Support additional team objectives and project-success activities as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least 15 years of program or project management experience supporting contracts of comparable size and complexity
- At least 10 years of experience scoping, designing, executing, monitoring, and evaluating enterprise IT development programs or comparable PMO initiatives
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-task contracts, subcontracts, diverse contract types, and multi-vendor federal delivery environments
- Project Management Professional certification
- Expertise in requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, risk management, schedule management, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer engagement, team leadership, and collaboration skills
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Successfully complete a background check
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including required fingerprinting, when required
