About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, enhance, and support full stack applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
Develop APIs, user interfaces, business logic, and data access components supporting platform workflows and integration needs
Collaborate with product, design, and architecture stakeholders to translate requirements into working software solutions
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and release support activities
Optimize applications for performance, usability, accessibility, security, and maintainability
Build and maintain integrations with internal services, external systems, and shared platform capabilities
Support defect resolution, production support, and continuous improvement across the application lifecycle
Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards, and reusable development practices
Work within Agile delivery processes and partner with QA and DevSecOps teams to ensure release readiness
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of 8 years of software development experience, including front-end, back-end, and database work
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, and responsive web development
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and enterprise application development
Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and application data modeling
Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices
Ability to troubleshoot across UI, service, and data layers
Strong understanding of secure coding, web development best practices, and software quality principles
Experience working in Agile teams and participating in estimation, refinement, and review activities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain a Government clearance
The candidate must reside within the continental US
Selected candidates will be required to complete fingerprinting at a government facility and undergo a background check
