About the role

  • Development and architecture: You develop scalable cloud applications with Python and make well-founded architectural decisions — from microservices and event-driven architectures to serverless solutions.
  • AWS as your playground: You design and implement modern software on AWS, leveraging the full potential of the cloud platform.
  • End-to-end ownership: You accompany features and projects from initial design to production operation — including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Shaping customer projects: You work directly with customers, understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Living DevOps, not just talking: Automation is second nature to you — you develop using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK) and build robust deployment pipelines.
  • Innovation and exchange: You experiment in our lab environments and contribute to internal formats (Tech Talks, team challenges) as well as external events.

Requirements

  • Solid development experience: Several years of practical experience in software development with Java or Python (mid-level or higher).
  • Software architecture know-how: You understand design patterns, can justify architectural decisions and have experience with microservices, APIs or event-driven design.
  • AWS practice: Hands-on experience with AWS — you know the most important services and understand how to develop cloud-native solutions.
  • DevOps tooling: Practical experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CDK or similar), container technologies (Docker, ECS/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communicator: You can convey technical concepts clearly and are comfortable in direct customer interaction.
