About the role
- Operate and maintain the Zabbix platform, ensuring proper operation and timely updates.
- Configure, review, and optimize templates, dashboards, items, triggers, and alerts.
- Support incident and event analysis by correlating alerts and identifying potential root causes.
- Adjust thresholds and alerting policies based on the needs of L2 and L3 teams (N2/N3).
- Work closely with the NOC to improve operational visibility.
- Support the evolution of monitoring by proposing improvements to alerting models and tool best practices.
- Document changes, standards, and best practices related to monitoring.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with monitoring using Zabbix.
- Experience in a Telecom NOC level 1 (NOC N1) or in infrastructure monitoring environments.
- Knowledge of event and alert correlation.
- Basic understanding of IT and Telecom infrastructure (networks, servers, services).
