Key responsibilities & impact

Structure the company’s data ecosystem by connecting data, processes, and systems to create business differentiation
Technically lead a data engineering team to accelerate automation and AI adoption across the company
Build the data and AI roadmap and the business case for team expansion
Combine quantitative data, such as sales, funnel, and NPS, with qualitative data, such as reviews, social media, and trends, to inform product and business decisions
Support technical discussions with business leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience building and integrating data environments from scratch, including pipelines, integrations, and automations, without relying on a large team
Fluency in Google Cloud and BigQuery
Proven experience applying AI and automation to business problems, beyond proofs of concept
Ability to navigate technical and business areas, translate between them, prioritize by impact, and control scope
Experience in a technology startup and/or consulting is a plus
B2C/e‑commerce context is valued
Entrepreneurial, curious, tireless, collaborative profile and open to revising own theses
