About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records
Support compliance reporting and documentation requirements
Assist with job costing and project financial tracking within Procore
Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements
Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
Collaborate with project managers and accounting team members on financial data
Process and support prevailing wage tracking and reporting
Manage and track commitment change orders, ensuring proper documentation and system updates
Monitor and ensure subcontractor compliance, including documentation and onboarding requirements
Support Procore administration, including managing project financial data and change orders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments
Experience with Procore and Sage preferred
Understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Proactive approach to problem solving
