About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Veristat’s ABM strategy and contribute to growth and revenue targets
- Develop new accounts and assist with growth in existing target accounts
- Generate qualified meetings and drive new business opportunities to RFP
- Conduct personalized outreach by phone and electronic media
- Research accounts, prospects, and products to create customized content communicating Veristat’s solutions and brand value
- Document activities and follow standard processes
- Assist with capabilities meetings, campaign outreach and follow-up
- Progress qualified leads
- Support internal business initiatives, process improvements, and trainings
- Work with direction and collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Account Development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3–8 years of inside sales or sales experience required
- At least 2–5 years of relevant clinical research organization (CRO) or life sciences experience required
- Proficient in Excel, including pivots, formulas, VLOOKUPs, and graphs
- Proficient in Outlook, LinkedIn, web browsers, and search engine navigation
- Experience with database management in a CRM required; Salesforce preferred
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic thinking
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable interfacing professionally with business contacts at various levels, including executives
- Strong prioritization capabilities and ability to complete tasks despite competing project demands
- Ability to solve problems effectively and maximize resources
- Comfortable making cold calls to prospective companies and proper phone etiquette
- Solid research capabilities, including web searches and concise summarization of large volumes of data
