About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the development and expansion of new business opportunities within established accounts and prospective clients.
- Provides leadership for overall business planning.
- Identifies and develops sales leads, managing the sales process through contract closure.
- Prepares and conducts project-specific client presentations.
- Liaises between the client and Company on all sales activities and requirements.
- Assists with the development of promotional material for Company recognition.
- Works closely with Project Management and Finance to establish strategic partnerships with clients.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a business, science, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience selling services in a CRO / pharmaceutical / biotechnology / life sciences industry.
- Expert knowledge of the clinical research process and requirements.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with proposal development, contract negotiation and closing a contract.
- Ability to learn quickly and assimilate project requirements.
- Ability to be flexible and easily multitask.
- Strong computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Prior Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
- Travel up to 50%.
