About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the development and expansion of new business opportunities within established accounts and prospective clients.
  • Provides leadership for overall business planning.
  • Identifies and develops sales leads, managing the sales process through contract closure.
  • Prepares and conducts project-specific client presentations.
  • Liaises between the client and Company on all sales activities and requirements.
  • Assists with the development of promotional material for Company recognition.
  • Works closely with Project Management and Finance to establish strategic partnerships with clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business, science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience selling services in a CRO / pharmaceutical / biotechnology / life sciences industry.
  • Expert knowledge of the clinical research process and requirements.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with proposal development, contract negotiation and closing a contract.
  • Ability to learn quickly and assimilate project requirements.
  • Ability to be flexible and easily multitask.
  • Strong computer skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Prior Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
  • Travel up to 50%.
