About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Civil Group Leaders in project management and design execution
  • Perform technical design for pipeline and site development projects
  • Prepare site layout, grading, and earthwork designs
  • Design access solutions, including driveways and temporary/permanent access roads, using vehicle tracking tools
  • Conduct stormwater analyses and design stormwater management systems
  • Prepare supporting calculations, reports, and drawings
  • Develop erosion and sediment control (E&S) plans, including BMP selection, design calculations, and reporting
  • Prepare permit applications and supporting documents for ESCGP, NPDES, HOP, Chapter 102, Chapter 105, zoning, and land development
  • Attend meetings with clients, municipal agencies, and project stakeholders
  • Produce construction drawings and specifications suitable for bidding and construction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on pipeline and site development projects across Pennsylvania

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required
  • Pennsylvania PE preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong experience with Chapter 102 permitting
  • Strong experience with stormwater management and E&S design
  • Experience with Hydraflow, HydroCAD, or similar hydrology/hydraulics software
