About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop our AWS backend architecture
- Implement efficient AWS Lambda functions using various frameworks
- Introduce modern testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests)
- Optimize performance and scalability (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, caching)
- Maintain and enhance professional development and documentation standards with the team (Poetry, GitHub Actions, Confluence)
- Maintain the interface between our products, the account system, and the desktop software
- Work closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, QA engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers
- Collaborate in an agile environment and contribute to a cooperative team culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience in backend development with Python
- Extensive experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Boto3, or similar technologies
- Confident use of frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar
- Solid experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL, DynamoDB, and ORMs
- Deep knowledge of AWS (Lambdas, S3, and other services) or other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP)
- Willingness to dive deep into AWS
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and dependency management tools (Poetry, UV, pip, or similar)
- Experience with test automation and agile development (Scrum/Kanban)
- Knowledge of software performance, scalability, and design pattern implementation
- High initiative, strong communication skills, assertiveness, and confident teamwork
