About the role

  • Configure and implement SAP TM solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Design transportation networks, carriers, rates, and master data.
  • Customize SAP TM functionalities and integrate with SAP SD, MM, EWM, and FI modules.
  • Gather and analyze transportation management requirements.
  • Prepare AS-IS and TO-BE process documentation and functional specifications.
  • Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects (blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment).
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for end-users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP TM issues post-implementation.
  • Recommend system upgrades and process improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in SAP TM implementation and configuration.
  • Hands-on experience in transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, tendering, and settlement.
  • Strong understanding of transportation management processes.
  • SAP TM certification (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • SAP TM configuration (Master Data, Freight Units, Planning, Charge Calculation, Settlement).
  • Integration knowledge with SAP SD, MM, EWM, FI.
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA embedded TM setup.
  • Understanding of LSP/Shipper scenarios and EDI interfaces.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Project management and team collaboration.
