About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with Key External Experts through meetings (both face-to-face and virtual) as well as at congresses and advisory boards.
- Expected to deliver proactive disease state education, and reactive discussions regarding product and clinical trial data.
- Provide appropriate scientific, clinical, and educational support to internal and external customers.
- Build a territory plan and establish key relationships with external communities, including professional societies.
- Support cross-functional medical pre-launch processes to ensure launch readiness and medical excellence.
- Take an active role in the planning and execution of educational activities at key scientific congresses and help develop the medical affairs congress strategy at both the national and regional levels, in collaboration with the medical affairs team.
- Lead and/or participate in special projects as necessary.
- Travel required (up to 50%).
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD, PharmD, or PhD, in Life Sciences.
- 3+ years Medical Affairs experience required.
- Experience in facilitating external relationships, as well as a track record of success interacting with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal; comfortable and experienced in developing and giving presentations.
- Strong background in renal or immunologic disease preferred.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Must possess excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Team-player comfortable in fast-moving, dynamic environments.
- Must be based in the assigned territory.
