Anticipate trends, identify emerging threats, and unlock new opportunities to strengthen product access and competitive advantage.
Align tactical account plans with company objectives, financial targets, and evolving market dynamics.
Forge deep, trust-based relationships with executive-level decision-makers across commercial insurers, Medicare plans, and high-value ASO clients.
Partner with trade relations, medical directors, and clinical leaders to secure and sustain favorable reimbursement status.
Serve as a credible voice on product value—merging clinical insight with economic rationale to influence policy and formulary decisions.
Collaborate with HOL and Medical Affairs to equip payers with robust clinical and outcomes-based evidence.
Advise marketing teams on customer-specific messaging, formulary tools, and pre/post-launch access initiatives.
Support field sales and regional field managers with actionable insights, reimbursement guidance, and pull-through strategies.
Be the go-to resource for internal teams on payer policies, competitive shifts, and the operational realities of specialty distribution networks.
Provide visibility into the impact of GPOs, PBM’s, Plans, ACOs, Managed Medicaid, and exchanges on access strategy.
Lead Vera’s presence at major industry meetings, customer summits, and trade shows, entering every event with a clear mission and measurable goals.
Oversee performance management, compliance and guidelines, and utilization audits to keep access strategies on track and delivering results.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
10+ years in biotechnology and/or pharmaceuticals.
Over a decade of market access/account management experience, with a history of successful product launches and/or line extensions.
A proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and sustain high-level payer relationships.
A track record of building high-performing teams and collaborating across functions to achieve business goals.
Deep knowledge of managed markets, specialty distribution, and U.S. healthcare policy.
Ability to travel 25-40%
