About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process and analyze complex information, ensuring correct application of financial data.
Oversee general accounting, payment processing, client trust and account reconciliation functions.
Manage consumer payments and ensure systems are updated appropriately.
Maintain client trust accounting processes and address any unreconciled issues.
Conduct necessary research and maintain proper documentation for reconciling items.
Propose plans to resolve underlying issues causing reconciling items.
Manage accounts receivable and prepare invoices.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards while improving accounting operations.
Support accounting leadership during the annual audit process.
Perform routine and non-routine analysis of financial data.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Five (5) years' experience in a corporate accounting environment with demonstrated experience with trust accounting, payment applications and account reconciliations required.
Public accounting experience is preferred.
CPA designation is a plus.
