About the role
- Aid in developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting secure, scalable, and robust applications.
- Collaborate on the development of enterprise solutions.
- Modify existing code and create new medium complexity code.
- Focus on learning and growing skills, while taking on more complexity in development tasks.
- Work in a fast-paced agile/scrum environment with limited assistance.
- Accountable for developing and delivering technical documentation.
- Undergo peer code and design reviews to ensure high-quality production-ready code.
- Build and maintain applications that meet industry regulatory requirements.
- Foster collaboration with team members and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with established SDLC frameworks, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, release management, and deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related technology field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years professional work experience in .Net and/or Java software development required.
- One year of experience performing as a subject matter expert.
- Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and standard SDLC processes.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) using work items, repos, build and deployment pipelines and test plans.
- Understanding of the use of variable groups and templates.
- Knowledge of various DevOps tools such as SonarQube.
- Experience in scripting languages such as Powershell and Bash.
- Proficiency of computer engineering fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to modify existing code and write semi-complex scripts according to standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in two or more modern programming languages.
- Beginning contribution to technical specifications and detailed design.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of coding standards and apply them.
