About the role
- Supports the successful implementation of complex financial institution debit and/or credit projects by executing technical tasks and performing quality checks.
- Leads client consultation on business and technical requirements, incorporating them into the overall project plan.
- Completes Gap Analysis to define system set-up requirements.
- Provides consulting and guidance to clients on how to meet their business requirements for implementations.
- Communicates between technical groups at client and vendor locations, and data maps technical files between systems.
- Works with clients and vendors to execute the project plan, ensuring technical tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Identifies and reports outstanding issues to the assigned project manager; assists with issue resolution.
- Ensures quality in the implementation process and communicates technical aspects and requirements of implementations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
- Training in Six Sigma Methodology and project management certification preferred.
- Seven (7) years of related experience in the payment processing industry required.
- Thorough understanding of payment card products, support services, and processes required.
- Five (5) years of related experience in business or system analysis required.
- Three (3) years of client-facing project support experience required.
- Experience required in completing card processing conversions that require migrating data from one processing platform to another.
