Hire and manage a team of A-players to create and drive business into new and existing accounts
Provide strategic guidance related to key opportunities and complete sales cycles
Manage relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, analytics, and C-level executives
Accurate sales forecast and pipeline management
Review and approve pricing and proposals
Review and approve expense reports and other administrative tasks associated with managing an outside sales team
Report and maintain timely and thorough notes pertaining to opportunities via Veeva’s CRM
Be willing to travel 25%+
Requirements
3+ years experience managing a team of 3+ Account Executives selling digital media/advertising (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic)
8+ years experience selling digital media & advertising AND recent experience selling those services to the Life Sciences industry (biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device or diagnostic)
Understanding of Life Sciences media landscape, as well as the people, processes, and technology in this industry
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written & verbal communication skills
Be self-motivated, professional, confident, flexible, and results-driven
Be proactive and driven approach, flexible
Be willing to travel as required
