About the role
- Responsible for meeting annual sales goals and helping the team achieve long-range growth targets
- Generate new opportunities and win new business for Veeva Commercial Basics
- Manage executive level relationships with emerging Biotech and MedTech companies
- Execute fast sales cycles working directly with C-level Executives
- Run demos and field questions about the Veeva Commercial Basics product suite
- Become knowledgeable on the Veeva Commercial Basics commercial product suite
- Keep current with industry trends and engage customers in addressing their business challenges
- Act with urgency, integrity, and a relentless focus on customer success
- Achieve team quarterly and annual sales goals and contribute as a foundational member of the sales organization
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- 4+ years of work experience
- Including 3 years of Sales experience; a minimum of 1 year of software sales experience
- Experience selling complex, out of the box solutions
- Experience independently managing and driving a full sales cycle
- Ability to sell directly to C-Level executives
- Strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales quotas
- We require candidates to be based in the general vicinity of the location posting
- A history of working with or selling to Life Sciences companies (Nice to Have)
- Strong computer skills and experience with Gmail, Excel, PPT, CRM, Sigma or other reporting and analytics software (Nice to Have)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and experience (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with Veeva’s Commercial software and data products (Nice to Have)
- Experience prospecting as a SDR, BDR, Associate Account Partner, or Account Partner (Nice to Have)
