About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Learn Vapi’s product, customer use cases, sales motion, and common technical objections in 30 days.
  • Own technical discovery and demos for active enterprise deals, and partner closely with AEs on account strategy in 60 days.
  • Lead the technical side of enterprise deals from first call through close and go-live, creating reusable artifacts for the team in 90 days.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years in a technical customer-facing role, such as pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, customer engineering, or similar.
  • Ability to write code well enough to build a working integration, read an API response, and debug issues without immediately pulling in an engineer.
  • Experience with voice, telephony, or contact center infrastructure, such as SIP, Twilio, Genesys, Five9, or similar systems.
  • Comfortable speaking with both engineers and executives, adjusting the level of detail without dumbing things down.
  • Energized by technical sales: discovery, architecture, POCs, objection handling, and helping customers get live.
