About the role
- Build a deep understanding of Vapi’s product, developer motion, and enterprise GTM strategy
- Audit current marketing channels, growth loops, and attribution systems
- Align with founders and GTM leadership on positioning, priorities, and success metrics
- Establish marketing operating cadence (OKRs, pipeline reviews, reporting)
- Refine positioning and messaging across developer and enterprise audiences
- Begin scaling high-impact growth channels (content, SEO, developer engagement)
- Launch a cohesive marketing engine spanning developer growth, product marketing, and demand generation
- Implement clear attribution and resource allocation across channels
- Deliver measurable impact on developer activation and enterprise pipeline generation
Requirements
- You’ve scaled a developer-first or infrastructure product from early traction to meaningful growth (e.g. $30M to $100M ARR or 100K to 1M+ users)
- You understand both PLG and enterprise GTM motions and how to balance them effectively
- Product marketing is your core strength. You can translate complex technical systems into compelling narratives
- You operate at a VP/CMO level with strong ownership, judgment, and bias for action
- You’ve worked in lean, high-growth environments and know how to prioritize ruthlessly
- Bonus: Experience in voice AI, real-time systems, or conversational AI
