About the role

  • Analyze new business requirements and develop technical concepts together with SAP consultants
  • Implement enhancements, customizations and bug fixes in the ABAP and/or Fiori/UI5 environment of SAP S/4HANA
  • Ensure quality, performance and stability of developed solutions
  • Identify and realize consolidation and optimization opportunities in existing applications
  • Assess code changes and coordinate technically with external SAP partners
  • Perform root-cause analysis, debugging and conduct comprehensive functional and integration tests
  • Support and assist integrated testing of SAP applications and interfaces
  • Participate in release upgrades of installed products and actively contribute to the process

Requirements

  • Technical IT education or a business degree with substantial IT continuing education (University of Applied Sciences FH/HF or equivalent)
  • Several years of experience as an ABAP developer and/or SAP Fiori/UI5 developer
  • Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects (ABAP OO), ideally complemented by CDS Views and modern SAP development concepts
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and an understanding of complex SAP application landscapes
  • Structured, solution-oriented and quality-conscious working style
  • Strong communication skills when working with internal business units and external partners
  • Very good German and good to very good English skills
