About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee daily accounting needs of the firm
Prepare financial statements and reports for the firm and health and welfare benefit program
Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries
Complete month end and year end close processes
Review all firm tax documentation for accuracy and file by state and federal deadlines
Participate in audit preparation, document production, and final review for internal and external firm and client audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a combination of degree and relevant accounting experience
2-5 years of supervisory/management experience
Excellent management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and related software
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
