About the role
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Deploy, operate, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Deploy, operate, and scale Serverless applications.
- Implement and maintain platform standards, patterns, and best practices across teams.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, etc.).
- Support release management, deployments, and incident response activities.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Apply security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, Kubernetes environments and Serverless environments.
- Continuously improve automation to reduce manual work and operational toil.
- Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to improve system resilience
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, preferably on large-scale, customer-facing platforms.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AKS in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Serverless Applications in production environments.
- Proficient with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Worked with container technologies (Docker) and container registries.
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions.
- Comfortable scripting or programming (Bash, Python, Go, etc.) for automation.
- Understand networking, security, and identity concepts in cloud environments.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to continuously learn and improve.
