- Guiding teams back to the problem space before jumping into solutions, ensuring solutions are viable, relevant, and thought through.
- Proactively influences and guides how we make decisions, the principles and practices we adopt, how we identify and manage complexity, risk, technical change management, and dependencies.

- Engaging with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to promote architectural clarity and adoption.
- Mentoring developers, fostering technical excellence, and good practices across the team.
Requirements
- Defines and coordinates adherence to architectural principles, facilitating pragmatic decisions through communication of trade-offs against design goals that align with both technical and business goals.
- Guides teams to ensure software is being designed to meet best practices and ensures key NFRs (maintainability, performance, scalability, and security ), and ensures a strategy is in place to validate those NFRs.
- Provides expert consultancy and specialist advice by taking responsibility for engaging with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, competing constraints, and providing informed architectural guidance. Ensures options are well communicated, and teams and key stakeholders understand the impact.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in Mobile application architecture and development (with a focus on Flutter). Proactively offers insights into best practices and emerging trends.
- Paves the way for teams by avoiding unnecessary tech debt, identifying complexity and risk early, and determining which decisions can be deferred until later, ensuring smooth and effective software delivery.
