About the role
- Operate on a remote, contractual basis as an SBC Author for XDA
- Cover single-board computer (SBC) news, updates, releases, tutorials, buying guides, reviews and related content
- Contribute buying guides, tutorials, and news under tight deadlines
- Input work into in-house CMS and find/format images according to guidelines
- Stay up to date on the latest computing news, products and updates
- Coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback
- Provide clear, analytical writing that evaluates and explains SBC products and developments
Requirements

- 2-3 tech articles you've written that demonstrate your writing abilities
- Applicants must have a self-starter attitude
- Relevant experience in writing and editing in the English language
- Ability to think analytically; applauding or criticizing aspects of the news source
- Expert knowledge and broad familiarity of SBCs
- Willingness to input work into our in-house CMS and find/format images according to guidelines
- Ability to contribute reliably and consistently under tight deadlines
