About the role
- Write engaging, well-researched articles focused on airline loyalty programs, frequent flyer schemes, loyalty cards, travel insurance, and related travel products.
- Hunt for, analyze, and write about the latest flight deals, promotions, and loyalty offers, helping readers find the best value.
- Develop and maintain evergreen content around loyalty programs, points and miles strategies, airline benefits, and traveler rewards.
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to optimize content for discoverability and long-term performance.
- Stay up to date with changes to airline loyalty programs, credit card benefits, elite status rules, and insurance policies.
- Balance timely deal-driven content with in-depth guides, explainers, and loyalty strategy articles.
- Write in a clear, authoritative, and reader-friendly tone aligned with SimpleFlying’s editorial standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a writer or journalist, ideally covering travel, aviation, loyalty programs, personal finance, or consumer travel topics.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, search intent, and evergreen content strategy.
- Knowledge of airline loyalty programs, rewards ecosystems, travel insurance products, and flight deals.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and react quickly to new deals or loyalty updates.
