Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year of experience in a clinical setting
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP), AHA approved
  • New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation
  • Training in specialty-specific assisting desired
  • Good communication skills
  • Competent to provide care to patients utilizing the nursing process
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of human growth and development
  • Competent to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs, based on age of the patient served
