About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing daily construction activities for U.S. Federal Government Healthcare Construction Projects ranging from $10M to $50M
Conduct and manage project coordination meetings (internal & external)
Ensure quality control compliance
Monitor all on-site activity, enforce compliance with Davis-Bacon wage requirements
Serve as the primary site contract for the Owner’s Representative, Contracting Officer, and on-site government inspectors
Prepare and update three (3) week lookaheads, coordinating with subcontractors to ensure alignment with project milestones
Track progress daily against the baseline schedule, enforce milestone deadlines and proactively report deviations to the Project Manager
Assist in preparing and submitting change orders per FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
Implement and uphold EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and project-specific safety plans by government standards
Develop, track, and close out the pre-final and final punch list in compliance with contract closeout requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Minimum five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in construction supervision, with at least three (3) years managing federal projects under USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA, or similar
Up-to-date certifications preferred: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, EM 385-1-1
Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain necessary clearances/badging for secure government sites.
