About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overseeing daily construction activities for U.S. Federal Government Healthcare Construction Projects ranging from $10M to $50M
- Conduct and manage project coordination meetings (internal & external)
- Ensure quality control compliance
- Monitor all on-site activity, enforce compliance with Davis-Bacon wage requirements
- Serve as the primary site contract for the Owner’s Representative, Contracting Officer, and on-site government inspectors
- Prepare and update three (3) week lookaheads, coordinating with subcontractors to ensure alignment with project milestones
- Track progress daily against the baseline schedule, enforce milestone deadlines and proactively report deviations to the Project Manager
- Assist in preparing and submitting change orders per FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
- Implement and uphold EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and project-specific safety plans by government standards
- Develop, track, and close out the pre-final and final punch list in compliance with contract closeout requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Minimum five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in construction supervision, with at least three (3) years managing federal projects under USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA, or similar
- Up-to-date certifications preferred: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, EM 385-1-1
- Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain necessary clearances/badging for secure government sites.
