About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Understand client objectives and incorporate them into program service goals
  • Ensure Valeris executes program services in compliance with contracted service levels
  • Manage the client service request queue, including completed and in-progress work
  • Implement and manage client-specific business rules
  • Identify opportunities to improve program scope and service-delivery efficiency
  • Evaluate data and provide actionable insights to advance programs consistently with client objectives
  • Monitor items impacting the program financial forecast and provide weekly updates
  • Prepare activity summaries for development and review of monthly client invoices
  • Identify talent for open positions and develop internal candidates for promotional opportunities
  • Partner with HR to maintain required program staffing levels
  • Develop a candidate pipeline with Human Resources
  • Drive team training, development, and retention
  • Prepare, review, and analyze client-specific operational results
  • Prepare client business review meetings using operational metrics and data insights
  • Serve as the point of contact for program and operational queries and issue resolution
  • Ensure adverse events and product complaints are reported according to client work instructions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred; Master’s degree is preferred
  • Previous personnel/team management experience is required
  • Experience managing managers is a plus
  • Knowledge of the specialty drug product marketplace is a plus
  • Knowledge of health insurance claims processing is a plus
  • Knowledge of product commercialization and working with manufacturers is a plus
  • Previous experience leading customer service teams is a plus
  • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy is preferred
  • Flexibility to travel as needed is preferred
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment using standard office equipment
  • Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the position, a drug screen is required as a condition of employment
