Legal Coordinator – Contracts

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the team responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts of various types, focusing on medium- and high-complexity matters.
- Ensure the technical quality of the team's contractual analyses, maintaining legal consistency and alignment with company guidelines.
- Set priorities, allocate tasks, and monitor the area’s performance indicators.
- Participate directly in strategic contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare legal opinions, guidance, and strategies related to medium- and high-complexity contractual issues.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks arising from contractual relationships.
- Ensure contractual instruments comply with applicable law, internal policies, and market best practices.
- Develop, review, and improve contract templates, procedures, and workflows for the area.
- Monitor contract deadlines, renewals, amendments, parties’ obligations, and other events relevant to contract management.
- Support partners, directors, and managers with consultative and strategic contract-related matters.
- Promote training, technical development, and performance oversight of the team.
- Prepare management reports, present results to leadership, and propose continuous improvements for the area.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing medium- and high-complexity contracts.
- Previous experience coordinating legal teams or serving in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law and risk management.
- Experience with lease agreements in shopping centers and the retail sector, with a strong grasp of the legal framework of these developments, including lease instruments, general regulations, ancillary agreements, ancillary revenue streams, commercial operations, and other sector-specific particulars.
- Ability to conduct complex negotiations and provide strategic consultative support to business units.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, organizational skills, and people management.
