About the role
- Lead and execute strategic initiatives across the Claims and Risk Control group, focusing on solving business problems rather than simply tracking tasks
- Identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and drive implementation with minimal oversight
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align on priorities, streamline processes, and improve performance
- Quickly develop a deep understanding of the business, industry dynamics, and organizational goals
- Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, providing insights, recommendations, and execution support
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring progress, accountability, and measurable outcomes
- Drive action and maintain momentum on key projects, demonstrating urgency and ownership
- Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining focus on high-impact results
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in project management, business operations, consulting, or a related field
- Experience within insurance, brokerage, claims, or risk control environments preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and lead initiatives independently
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Highly self-motivated, action-oriented, and capable of operating without close supervision
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Tenacious and persistent, with a track record of driving initiatives through to completion
