About the role

  • Responsibility for revenue, profitability and long-term partnerships
  • Commercial responsibility and contract management
  • Preparing proposals together with project managers
  • Managing the deal pipeline and stakeholder & client relations
  • Identifying and maintaining relevant stakeholders across the entire buying center
  • Participating in client meetings, presentations and annual reviews
  • Continuous coordination with project management and executive management on account status
  • Building strong relationships and expanding existing partnerships
  • Developing account plans and strategies (short-, medium- and long-term)
  • Providing a reliable basis for annual planning and executive reporting
  • Risk and escalation management
  • Building and further developing structures, processes and KPIs

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in B2B account management, ideally in agency, consulting or product development environments
  • Strong commercial understanding (pricing, margin/contribution margin, capacity utilization, forecasting)
  • Experience in contract and terms management as well as negotiating at decision-maker level
  • Confident handling of CRM and reporting processes; structured pipeline maintenance
  • Strong communication skills and a confident presence at eye level with C-level, procurement and specialist departments
  • Ability to channel feedback, mediate conflicts and handle escalations with a solution-focused approach
  • Proactive, structured and self-driven working style – strategic thinker, operationally hands-on
  • Presentation-ready in German (C1) and good command of English
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and annual reviews
  • Team player
