Oversee small to mid-size IT/software projects and ensure projects are completed on time.
Serve as single point of contact for project communications and establish effective project communication plans.
Develop comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures, and project delivery strategies.
Manage project team, resources, risks, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder signoffs throughout the project life cycle.
Schedule and facilitate project team meetings, weekly status reports, and status meetings as needed.
Coordinate cross-disciplined team members to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met.
Conduct business requirements/gap analysis, testing coordination, and confirm quality and timely delivery of project documentation.
Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues; prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
Coordinate development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents for successful implementation and turnover to clients.
Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Lead, motivate, and encourage teamwork; communicate with senior leadership and provide credible technical/business leadership.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment.
Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, technical design, and practical implementation of IT solutions.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) models and expert knowledge of Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.
Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies and enterprise-level application development projects.
Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members.
Experience leading and managing remote teams.
Experience planning, leading, and tracking IT projects; collaborating with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment.
Experience gathering IT requirements from clients/business partners and from client artifacts (documents, letters, forms, reports, websites, intranet sites).
Experience documenting detailed, formal requirements including Business Cases, Use Cases, User Stories.
Experience diagramming requirements: Current State/Future State Cross-Functional Process Flows, Use Case Models, Data Flow Models, SWOT, Business Objective Models, Cause/Effect, Fishbone Diagrams.
Experience serving as a servant-leader in IT Agile projects; coaching and mentoring project teams, business partners and stakeholders in SDLC, project management, and agile frameworks/methodologies.
Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Visio.
Experience managing projects using MS SharePoint including creating and managing SharePoint Lists.
Familiarity with project, program, and agile tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Jira Align, Miro.
