Patient Safety Project Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the development and project management of initiatives that enhance patient safety.
- Manage and improve patient safety and human factor engineering principles by collaborating with various departments.
- Work collaboratively with the Patient Safety Manager to support the patient safety program.
- Lead and manage specified patient safety projects from initiation through completion.
- Analyze patient safety electronic submissions surveys, and other data sources to identify trends and issues.
- Assist in the development and refinement of policies and procedures related to patient safety.
- Design and deliver training programs for staff on patient safety and human factor and error prevention skills.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: high school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio.
- Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed for project assignments.
- Required: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
