About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Configure and install wireless access points and gateways following university configuration templates and procedure.
  • Utilize tools such as Aruba Central, Airwave, NetAlly, and Wifi Analyzer in daily wireless network maintenance.
  • Monitor, measure and troubleshoot network performance using tools such as spectrum analyzers and network traffic analyzers.
  • Provide network design options to support daily asset management of all USNH ethernet switches, Ethernet ports and wireless access points within the enterprise.
  • Supervise contractors and student workers on network related projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or 5 years equivalent experience in a wireless network engineering role.
  • CWNA, CWDP, CWAP certificates are preferred.
  • Wireless technologies, project management.
