About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure and install wireless access points and gateways following university configuration templates and procedure.
- Utilize tools such as Aruba Central, Airwave, NetAlly, and Wifi Analyzer in daily wireless network maintenance.
- Monitor, measure and troubleshoot network performance using tools such as spectrum analyzers and network traffic analyzers.
- Provide network design options to support daily asset management of all USNH ethernet switches, Ethernet ports and wireless access points within the enterprise.
- Supervise contractors and student workers on network related projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or 5 years equivalent experience in a wireless network engineering role.
- CWNA, CWDP, CWAP certificates are preferred.
- Wireless technologies, project management.
