About the role

  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications to meet the business needs of USA Swimming.
  • Leads front-end development for both desktop and mobile applications.
  • Interacts with business subject matter experts to understand and document business requirements.
  • Analyzes business requirements and transforms them into a technical design.
  • Employs React / JavaScript, MS Web APIs and Microsoft Visual Studio application development technologies to develop custom applications.
  • Administers application code in the development, staging, and production environments.
  • Uses Azure DevOps to manage source code and the Agile development lifecycle.
  • Collaborates with third party vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in front-end software development using JavaScript, React, TanStack Router, and React Native.
  • 2 – 3 years of back-end software development experience, with majority of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio development technologies (ASP.NET Core, C#, Model-view-controller, T-SQL, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, MS Web APIs, and Azure).
  • Experience in test-driven development.
  • Experience and solid working knowledge of JSON, CSS, HTML.
