About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns across a variety of entity types, including 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, 1120, and 990.
  • Organize and review client tax documents for accuracy and completeness; identify and resolve discrepancies before they reach the preparer.
  • Assist with data cleanup and workpaper preparation using Excel.
  • Learn and actively use our automation tools to support compliance workflows and reduce manual entry.
  • Keep client data organized and filing-ready so the senior team can move fast.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting
  • Clear intent to sit for the CPA exam and obtain licensure
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly; proficient in Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through on recurring tasks
  • Full-time availability Monday–Friday during standard business hours; no competing job or academic commitments during working hours
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or professional tax software such as CCH Axcess
