About the role
- Lead a team of mostly senior software developers and play a pivotal role in guiding them to success.
- Develop and enhance existing Ruby systems and run these in AWS.
- Ensure seamless collaboration and communication with other engineering teams and the product manager.
- Be involved in all phases of software development: design, implementation, maintenance, and documentation.
- Assist and advise colleagues in the creation of concepts and ideas.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members, nurturing a culture of growth and excellence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager, team lead or similar role with strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Ability to see the big picture and make strategic decisions.
- Expertise in AWS technologies.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Must have a valid work permit; visa sponsorship/relocation not provided.
