About the role
- Preparation of company-wide budget and forecast planning
- Analysis and interpretation of resulting budget vs. actual variances and derivation of measures based on these findings
- Support in the analysis of business processes and identification of optimization potential
- Process optimization and further development of existing controlling instruments and internal reporting
- Monitoring and further development of internal cost accounting
- Preparation of profitability analyses, investment calculations and variance analyses
- Ongoing calculation and monitoring of product costs
- Preparation and enhancement of the reporting system
- Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Accounting, Controlling or Finance, or an equivalent qualification
- Initial professional experience in controlling desirable, ideally in the chemical, food or animal feed industry
- Independent, careful and structured way of working
- Good to very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Confident user of SAP ERP/BW and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Qlik is a strong advantage
