About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Play a key role within the applications development team, responsible for a highly customized Salesforce instance.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop custom solutions that fit business goals across the entire campus.
Work with clients to translate business rules and functional specifications into requirements.
Work with supervision on a small development team that designs, develops, tests, and deploys software/web applications.
Identify and contribute to solutions to correct software defects through unit, integration, system, and customer acceptance testing.
Produce project documentation, including functional and technical designs, and end-user guides.
Help to create testing and implementation plans, including user training and documentation.
Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

An earned Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Associate Salesforce Developer: Minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce Ecosystem systems and best practices, 1 year of experience with application and software development, and 1 year of experience with Apex and the Lightning Component Framework.
Journey Salesforce Developer: Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce Ecosystem systems and best practices, as well as a Salesforce App Builder Certification.
Preferred: Experience in a higher education environment, particularly at a 4-year, large public R1 university, along with Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce App Builder certifications.
Some experience with or exposure to Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud) is also desirable.
