About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Involves both inpatient and outpatient clinical care at the University of Minnesota Medical Center-Fairview.
  • Staffing the inpatient Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) and Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) Infectious Diseases consult services.
  • Seeing outpatients referred to the Transplant Infectious Diseases clinic.
  • Educational responsibilities will include teaching students and residents who rotate on the infectious diseases consult service and may include staffing the infectious diseases fellows' clinic.
  • Opportunity to establish and/or collaborate on clinical research studies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Medical (eg, DO, MD, MBBS, etc) degree.
  • Board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Completed fellowship training (or equivalent) in Infectious Diseases.
  • Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
