About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct inpatient and outpatient care for patients with stroke and other complex cerebrovascular conditions.
- Provide comprehensive telestroke coverage including emergency stroke intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the continuum of care.
- Contribute to quality improvement processes and participate in clinical trials.
- Educate trainees including stroke, neurocritical care, and endovascular surgical neuroradiology fellows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Medical degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency and vascular neurology fellowship.
- Broad neurology and vascular neurology expertise.
- Commitment to educating trainees and contributing to ongoing clinical trials.
- Current or eligible, unrestricted Minnesota State Medical License.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician (certification must be acquired within 2 years of hire).
