HR Business Partner
University HospitalsHR Business Partner providing guidance on human resources policies and developing employee relations strategies. Collaborating with leadership to manage HR initiatives and improve workforce performance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides Human Resources policy interpretation and guidance to leaders and employees.
- Partner with business units and entity Human Resources leaders to develop effective strategies to proactively manage employee issues/situations and mitigate risk.
- Acts as primary interface between business unit leadership for all HR needs and partners with HR Leadership to align initiatives with business entity goals.
- In collaboration HR Manager/Director assists with change management initiatives in assigned business units.
- Performs analysis on HR items such as turnover, retention, compensation, etc. and makes recommendations for changes to management.
- Uses data analytics to evaluate, make recommendations and partners with operational leaders to influence change or drive improved results.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 2+ years Of progressive HR Experience (Required)
- Employee Relations experienced (Preferred)
- Direct knowledge of recruitment/employment, compensation, benefits, wages and hour regulations and practices (Required proficiency)
- Detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability. (Required proficiency)
- Notable client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills (Required proficiency)
- Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment (Required proficiency)
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. (Required proficiency)
- Demonstrated ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, and general office equipment (i.e. printers, copy machine, fax machine, etc.) . (Required proficiency)
- Professional in HR (PHR) (Preferred)
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) (Preferred) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) (Preferred)
