About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support operational functions of the Patient Advocacy Reporting System (PARS) and Corporate Risk Management programs
  • Schedule meetings and manage communication
  • Participate in annual reporting visits and manage document distribution
  • Administer the UH Sponsored Physician Program
  • Assist in managing the System's insurance and reinsurance programs
  • Compile underwriting data and assist in claims management processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Equivalent / GED (Required)
  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business field (Preferred)
  • 2+ years administrative experience (Required)
  • 2+ years experience in Corporate Risk Management or insurance broker/consultant in healthcare (Preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement and monitor change
