About the role
- Under the direction and guidance of senior biostatisticians, perform intermediate level statistical analysis at all phases of a research project
- Evaluate research studies, recommend statistical procedures, and prepare statistical plans
- Prepare comprehensive statistical reports to communicate findings with investigators
- Prepare statistical components of presentations, abstracts, study protocols, and manuscripts
- Describe statistical methods and results to fellow biostatisticians/methodologists as well as to broader audiences
- Programming functional code for data analysis using SPSS, SAS, R, SQL, or Python
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 2+ years research and statistical analysis (Required)
- Ability to prioritize the work of multiple projects
- Experience in a team setting (Preferred proficiency)
- Knowledge of GCP and FDA guidelines
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Ability to understand and communicate statistical analyses and results to others
- Computer and programming skills: Word, Excel, and a statistical programming language such as SPSS, SAS, R, Python or SQL
