About the role

  • Provision of support pursuant to Section 6 of the German Occupational Safety Act (Arbeitssicherheitsgesetz) and advising responsible personnel on all matters of occupational safety
  • Regular inspections of workplaces, documenting identified deficiencies and participating in the development of corrective measures
  • Advising on the implementation of risk assessments
  • Monitoring applicable regulations and standards
  • Participation in training and instruction on occupational safety requirements and accident prevention
  • Cooperation with internal departments and supervisory authorities
  • Further development of technical and organizational standards
  • Ideally: assumption of the role of Dangerous Goods Officer (Gefahrgutbeauftragter)

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Meister (master craftsman) or technician, or a completed degree in engineering
  • Completed qualification course for Occupational Safety Specialist (m/f/d) in accordance with ASiG §7 and DGUV V2 §4
  • Ideally additional qualifications, e.g., Dangerous Goods Officer (Gefahrgutbeauftragter), and willingness to obtain further certifications
  • Friendly, customer-oriented, professional and communicative manner
  • Strong and persuasive advisory skills
  • Solid knowledge of common Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Structured, goal-oriented and independent working style
  • Strong communication skills, very reliable, and enjoys working collaboratively
  • Willingness to gain additional experience where required in an interdisciplinary environment
