About the role
- Build and maintain DevOps pipelines
- Design, operate and maintain CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deployment)
- Automate infrastructure and deployments (Infrastructure as Code)
- Establish monitoring, logging and alerting
- Manage cloud and container platforms
- Ensure stability, scalability and security
- Work closely with researchers, developers and quality management
- Contribute to scientific publications and project proposals
Requirements
- Completed university degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) in Computer Science, Medical Informatics or a related discipline
- Experience in a DevOps or platform engineering environment
- Solid experience designing and using CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
- Understanding of modern software development processes (Agile, Git workflows)
- Ideally experience with zero-downtime deployments, rollbacks and release strategies
- Ideally experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
- Ideally experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments
- Highly motivated, able to work independently with a solution-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Good German and English language skills for working in our international team
