About the role

  • Build and maintain DevOps pipelines
  • Design, operate and maintain CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deployment)
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Establish monitoring, logging and alerting
  • Manage cloud and container platforms
  • Ensure stability, scalability and security
  • Work closely with researchers, developers and quality management
  • Contribute to scientific publications and project proposals

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Master/Diploma/PhD) in Computer Science, Medical Informatics or a related discipline
  • Experience in a DevOps or platform engineering environment
  • Solid experience designing and using CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python)
  • Understanding of modern software development processes (Agile, Git workflows)
  • Ideally experience with zero-downtime deployments, rollbacks and release strategies
  • Ideally experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
  • Ideally experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently with a solution-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good German and English language skills for working in our international team
